Intuitive Design
by tylerpHave you ever tried using new software? I have often enough to know it is not pretty. It usually involves me stumbling around the program trying to learn how the interface works. Some programs can hide basic functions pretty well.
The development team at Qualtrics has put a lot of effort into making sure that Qualtrics users do not feel that way. The interface for the Qualtrics research suite is very intuitive. Creating a survey is easy to do. You just click on the create survey button at the top of the page, give the survey a name, and start making questions. Everything is point and click.
If you need a new question, click on the green button with a plus sign that says Create a New Question. If you want to edit the question text, then click on the question text and start editing. Editing answer choices is the same deal. You just click on the answer choice and type it in.
If your survey is already typed up in other software, you can copy the text, click on the question text in Qualtrics, and paste. You can even paste in all of your answer choices at once. Just make sure that they are in a list in your software. Then copy the list, click on the first answer choice in the Qualtrics Research Suite, and paste in the text. Each line of the list will populate a new answer choice.
Everything is pretty much just point and click. It is very user friendly.
