Qualtrics, a fourth-generation survey software, is the culminating product of almost two decades of survey research expertise. Today, it is the simplest, most manageable, most flexible survey software for corporate America.
The Qualtrics company is unique in the research world, with expertise stretching back to the early 1980's and the development of advanced pc-based statistical software for Conjoint Analysis, Multidimensional Scaling and Market Segmentation. Our founder's product PC-MDS was adopted by a large number of Ph.D. granting institutions and corporations world-wide.
Past research activities have included consulting for some of the world's largest corporations, including companies like IBM (world-wide IT sales forecasting), Sara Lee (conjoint analysis for product development), Yahoo! Stores (conjoint pricing analysis), Cigna (Conjoint analysis for employee benefit packages) and Bell South (Psychographic profiling).
With the advent of the Internet, our focus shifted to the development of online survey research technology. We began in 1997 as a pioneer in that field, with technology offerings through a number of online research sites including www.surveypro.com.
Qualtrics is a privately held company located just South of Salt Lake City in Provo, Utah, at the base of the Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains.
