distribution and panel management
Survey data can vary according to the method used to distribute the survey.

Reminders
Qualtrics can track who has not taken the survey, who has, and who has started but not completed. Send reminders to only those that have not finished the survey to increase responses without annoying your panel.
Mailing History
When dealing with several mailings to different groups or panels, remembering when and to whom the survey was sent often becomes more difficult than it needs to be. Qualtrics automatically records each distribution of a survey and reports this in the distribute section of the suite.

Send From Your Own Server
Many companies have built relationships with panel members and they trust emails coming from that organization. As part of the branding options, Qualtrics allows companies to use all features of the Qualtrics mailer but send them from their own server.
Embedded Data
Don't ask questions that you already know the answers to. Qualtrics gives you the ability to link up to a database of information previously known about your respondent and use it to interpret their data. In this way, you can still have detailed information with each response, but the respondent can answer a much shorter survey.
Panel Tracking
Qualtrics has the ability to track respondents and report who has completed, begun, or not started the survey. This feature is incredibly helpful when doing an internal survey within an organization to impose accountability on your employees' responses.
Respondent History
Qualtrics allows you to view each respondent and what surveys they have been invited to take, as well as what surveys they have responded to. This feature allows you to manage your panel, knowing what individual respondents are more likely to respond to and ensuring that no panelist is over-surveyed.
Auto-Generated Samples
Your respondents are the most valuable resource to your organization. When launching several projects, you want to ensure they aren't over-surveying your panelists. Qualtrics can automatically generate samples randomly, based off certain criteria, or according to time since their last invitation.
Polls
Polls are a fun and interactive way for you to get to know your customers. Post these on your website to learn who is landing there, or use polls to generate familiarity with your products.
Embedded Surveys
Online surveys don't necessarily have to go out to a mailing list. Embedded surveys allow you to put a survey anywhere on the web, but the respondent doesn't have to navigate to a new page to take it. Embedded surveys can be used to capture a wider array of responses.
Thank You Messages
Make sure that your respondents know they are appreciated. Qualtrics can schedule an automatic mailing to everyone who has finished the survey. Thank you messages can help you build relationships with your panelists and encourage future responses.
Pop-up Surveys
Use the Qualtrics generated code to place a pop-up survey on your website. Because pop-up surveys only happen on specific pages, they are a great way to recruit panelists with interests that are tied to that page.
Email Expirations
Qualtrics can expire entire surveys or individual mailings automatically. Time limits on surveys are helpful when using rewarded panels. When your study time has passed, the survey becomes inaccessible and extra respondent fees are shut off.
Quick Send
When you are only sending a survey to a few people, creating and uploading an entire panel is inefficient. Qualtrics quick send gives you the ability to type in a list of email addresses and send them a survey without losing the functionality of tracking their responses. This feature saves time on low volume distributions.
Reusable Messaging
Qualtrics automatically saves the messages that you send in mailings for future use. When scheduling different mailings at different times, there is no need to store your messages where they are liable to be lost because Qualtrics keeps them automatically. This allows you to quickly schedule and send mailings.
