Service-Specific Terms

The following terms apply only to the specific Services to which the Service-Specific Terms relate. In the event of a conflict between these Service-Specific Terms and the general GTC, the conflict should be resolved in the following order: (1) these Service-Specific Terms, and (2) the GTC. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined herein shall have meanings set forth in the GTC.

Free Accounts; Trial Accounts

For free accounts or trial accounts, you acknowledge and agree that we may record your interaction with the Services, including screenshots, mouse movement, and keyboard entry.

We may terminate your free account or trial account (a) if you exceed the account limits or (b) in our sole discretion.

Qualtrics Surveys

During your use of Qualtrics Surveys product, you acknowledge and agree that we may record your interaction with the Services, including screenshots, mouse movement, and keyboard entry.

We may terminate your Qualtrics Surveys account (a) if you exceed the account limits or (b) in our sole discretion.

Q-Lite Accounts

We may terminate your Q-Lite account if you exceed the Q-Lite account limits.

Academic Users

If you are an academic institution on an academic license, your use of the Services is restricted to academic research purposes. Services may be used only by students, staff, or faculty of your institution. Commercial use of the Services is prohibited and includes, without limitation, use of the Services on behalf of other institutions or entities for compensation or where such institution or entity would otherwise purchase a commercial license.

SMS

If you are using our SMS services, SMS should only be sent to people that have opted in to, or otherwise validly consented to, receiving communications from you. You must honor opt outs received from respondents. Your use of the services must be in compliance with applicable law. For more information, please refer to our SMS Distributions page.

CoreXM, CoreXM Standard, DesignXM, Research Essentials, and Strategic Research Subscriptions with Payment Card

Upon expiration of each term, a CoreXM, CoreXM Standard, DesignXM, Research Essentials, or Strategic Research subscription purchased using a payment card shall automatically renew for an identical subscription for another term by charging the payment card the same amount plus a price increase no greater than five percent (5%), unless either party provides written notice at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the expiring term. Qualtrics will notify you of price, term, and related details forty-five (45) days before you are charged.

Website and app feedback

If you are using our website and app feedback feature, the feature may collect personal data from individuals. You are responsible for proper collection of personal data, including obtaining any required consent to the collection of personal data and responding to any requests associated with the personal data.

Solicit Reviews

By using the Solicit Reviews question type, you agree to solicit reviews in accordance with applicable law, including Section 5(a) of the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. § 45). You agree that you will not only solicit reviews that are positive. You also agree to comply with the terms and conditions established by the respective review site.

Qualitative Video Research

By using Qualtrics’ Qualitative Video Research tools, including the Video Response question type, you agree to collect video data in compliance with applicable law. You agree to obtain any necessary consents for the collection of respondent personal data, including biometric data where applicable, and for your use and sharing of the collected data..
