Qualtrics expands Public Sector operations and data center footprint in Asia Pacific and Japan
One of the biggest challenges facing every single government department and agency is designing new and improved experiences and initiatives that continually address the evolving and diverse needs of their residents and the employees who serve them.
The services and support being delivered by governments are critical as we adapt to a changing world. By ensuring the experience is positive in each individual engagement - whether it’s getting seamless access to someone’s COVID vaccination status or finding local legislation - governments will encourage adoption, lasting usage, and ultimately trust among residents, as well as improve wellbeing, productivity, and engagement among their teams.
Qualtrics is committed to continuously improving and expanding the support and capabilities we offer all levels of government to maintain the highest standard of information security. These investments are critical in enabling our customers to deliver the world-class experiences their residents and employees now expect.
As part of our continued efforts, we have recently made significant investments across Asia Pacific and Japan that strengthen our position as the trusted experience management partner to support public sector organizations in the region:
- New data centers in Singapore and Japan - Following the official opening of a data center in Singapore earlier this year - which is already being used by organizations including Integrated Health Information Systems - Qualtrics has announced plans to open another in Japan in 2022. These new offerings provide customers with direct access to the Qualtrics Experience Management Platform while ensuring compliance with local data sovereignty and security requirements.
- Established dedicated Public Sector Business unit - In response to growing demand from government departments and agencies in Australia and New Zealand, Qualtrics has established a dedicated Public Sector business unit across the countries. The Public Sector business unit consists of a country-wide team responsible for providing industry-specific capabilities, expertise, and on-going support.
- New certifications - The Qualtrics Experience Management Platform has been independently assessed by the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) up to and including the PROTECTED level in Australia. This assessment provides every government department and agency with the ability to confidently, quickly, and securely deliver world-class experiences for their citizens and employees.
The combination of these new additions and the rapidly growing local team ensures Qualtrics has one of the most robust, secure, and comprehensive offerings from any provider of experience management technologies in Asia Pacific and Japan.
Across the world, Qualtrics customers have the best-in-class security controls, frequent risk assessments, enhanced information security, and personally identifiable information (PII) protection - including ISO 27001, SOC2 Type II, FedRAMP Moderate, and HITRUST certified in the US. More than 13,500 organizations - including 500+ government departments and agencies - trust using the Qualtrics platform to gather responsive, inclusive, and transparent information while protecting the most sensitive data.
