At Qualtrics we believe in experiences. We want to be sure we provide our employees the best employee experience possible. One way we do this is to offer to pay for an annual ‘Qualtrics Experience’. The employee can decide when/where/how to have this experience and then let us know what they learned. This story is part of a ‘Qualtrics Experience’ blog series showcasing our employees and their ultimate experience.

What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?
I traveled to New Zealand and Australia independently with the goal of meeting people from around the world, checking out the beautiful New Zealand countryside, and following the footsteps of Hobbits.

One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. What did you learn through this experience?
Learn: Most of my evenings were spent engaging with other International travelers or, if I stayed in an AirBnB, connecting with my local host. Through those conversations, I learned a lot about international relations, cultural/political differences, and how the environment can shape a country.

Lead: I connected with many strangers who became friends and challenged myself to dive into situations that were uncomfortable (sleeping in 12-person dorms, going to a Rugby game/venues solo, navigating a new city every day).

Live: I had a blast! I went skydiving and did “the world’s biggest swing”. I also did portions of the Great Walks which had stunning scenery. And I was sure to frequent the local food/drink scene.

Just one more example of why you might want to check out our open opportunities at Qualtrics and see if you are a fit!
