My Qualtrics Experience – Nathan Price – Enterprise Sales
At Qualtrics we believe in experiences. We want to be sure we provide our employees the best employee experience possible. One way we do this is to offer to pay for an annual ‘Qualtrics Experience’. The employee can decide when/where/how to have this experience and then let us know what they learned. This story is part of a ‘Qualtrics Experience’ blog series showcasing our employees and their ultimate experience.
What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?
Last year my wife and I sat down with our kids and came up with a worthwhile family goal that we knew would take significant time to accomplish. To add motivation to accomplish the goal, we decided we’d take a family trip immediately after goal completion. Our kids had their hearts set on a trip involving Disneyland or something similar. With the added contribution from the Qualtrics Experience bonus, we elected to upgrade the trip to a 7 night Disney cruise down to the Caribbean.
One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. Please explain how your experience contributed to this objective.
Qualtrics has always been big on encouraging employees to Learn, Lead, and Live, both inside and outside of the office. My recent Qualtrics Experience centered around the “Live” objective.
My wife and I have a son and a daughter (ages 6 & 8) and we’re coming to the sad realization their precious years of childhood are passing by way too fast. They are right at that special age where everything is magical and larger than life. However, it can be challenging finding extended moments of time throughout the busy year where me and my wife can have our children all to ourselves, with no interruptions or distractions, to LIVE and enjoy those magical times together.

Our kids had their hearts set on a Disney Cruise down to the Caribbean. The Qualtrics Experience allowed our family to put a pause in life for Father Time for 7 days, during the middle of a busy work month, to simply live life with our little loved ones and to partake in the magic of their youthful dreams. That truly is a #QualtricsExperience!
