Why Qualtrics?

What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
The attraction of Qualtrics to me was being involved in a company where the impact I made was clear to see, to help write the story of a great company’s international expansion, to make a difference. We are growing at such an amazing pace where no two days are same. I look back at the last 2.5 years I have been here, and can see how far we have come as a business, and actually how much I have developed professionally in that time. The attraction I wanted and felt at the start, still remains today.

What was the turning point where you ‘had to have the job’?
I was invited to the Dublin office for a couple of face to face interviews as part of the hiring process. Getting first hand exposure into the way the company operated on the inside, meeting executive leadership and seeing the enthusiasm across all the teams I met had me sold!

I had worked in software sales and sales management more years than I probably like to admit. Companies of all sizes, but there was a buzz, a vibe, I really felt that interview day in Dublin. Something I hadn’t experienced in a company before.

What does your day look like?
Typical day could be a mix of telephone and video calls or face to face meetings With internal or external teams – these are either regular touchpoints or relate to specific projects or initiatives I am working on. I am super fortunate to have the chance to travel with work, to either the Qualtrics offices in Europe or North America or to the offices of my partners. I can tell you more about airport departure lounges than you ever want to hear!

My role is working with key strategic partners to develop offerings around our XM platform that give value to our customers. It needs a mix of sales skills, marketing or creativity and to be good at building long term relationships.

What is your favourite part of your role?
Making a difference to the company, playing a part in the Qualtrics story.

What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
In 2.5 years, I have yet to hear anyone say “sorry, can’t help you… that’s not my job”…. This is a great thing and long may it continue!

What are your aspirations in career/life?
To work hard but have fun along the way, be the best version of me I can be and enjoy the rewards with my family.
