I have always loved working in international environments with people from different cultures and countries. In addition, cloud computing has fascinated me because of its strength of innovation, its speed, and its ability to connect people around the globe. Qualtrics allows me to combine those two aspects, whilst working at a very modern office, being surrounded by cool people and selling a game-changing technology.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
I care a lot about company culture and people and at Qualtrics, I felt from the beginning that I would fit in well. In addition, I found the product – with its different use cases in customer, product, brand and employee experience – extremely interesting and had no doubt it is something companies would invest in. I also liked the idea of being one of the first employees in Germany, helping Qualtrics to enter a completely new market.
What does your day look like?
It’s usually a combination of outbound prospecting, doing demos and having meetings with potential new clients. I also get to go to events, training, and exhibitions. At X4, our experience management summit, I was part of the Dream Team and literally made dreams come true for our guests. That was a very gratifying experience both for me and the people I interacted with.
What is your favourite part of your role?
This job definitely never gets boring. The software is very rich in functionality and there are many different use cases and buying personas. Therefore, you are often out of your comfort zone and solve different kinds of business problems, which requires continuous development. I like that because it helps me grow as a professional and it prevents me from falling into a routine.
What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
Obviously, I had many questions in my first months and everyone at Qualtrics turned out to be extremely supportive and helpful. Whenever I asked for help, people would take the time to sit down with me. This gave me a very welcoming feeling. Moreover, we have our own cancer foundation called 5 For The Fight. While most companies do donate, I feel like this one is so different because you can really feel the genuineness and the energy related to it. At every sales review, we do not only celebrate our numbers but also how much money we raised for cancer research. I find that incredible and have never seen a company that engaged.
What is your top #LifeHack?
10 minutes of meditation a day keeps the doctor away ☺
