I would like to set an embedded data field which takes into account one of the survey participant's previous answers. In Excel, I would create this function:
if(PreviousAnswerX=20, 20, 0). This says that if the participant's answer to question X was 20, the embedded data field should be set to 20. Otherwise, the embedded data field should be 0.

Is there a way to create such a function in Qualtrics?
Thanks so much!

The problem I'm running into is that I'm also getting alerts when a word like 'apply' is in the text - which is not what I want. I was told to use 'matches regex' but that still does not seem to be working. Any suggestions on how to get this functionality to work?

Hello
Our company has a coule of websites with online intercepts. As we want to disturb the customers as little as possilbe, we set them up as a pop-overs that will go to the background once agreed, and load the survey as a pop-under.

On mobile phones, this approach doesn't seem to work well- I assume it is because browers are often just closed all at once, and the different tabs aren't easily visible. What would be the best way to display an intercept on mobile, without disturbing the customer too much during their task, but still making the survey somewhat more visible / harder to forget?

Has anyone had to run two active creatives on the same page for vastly different surveys? We have an existing pop-under survey to measure UI/UX scoring with your typical UX questions and NPS question, and use this as a KPI for site performance (we'll call this one Survey A). It has recently come up that we will need another active creative survey for an online chat that would come up as a pop-up and just ask three or so questions about the chat session the user just completed (we'll call this one Survey B ).

Now I know I can control who is seeing what and when, and avoid, for the most part, a user being prompted with both surveys, but we're worried about the risk of Survey B affecting our scores from Survey A because the folks being sampled could possibly change. Both surveys will be sampling a random subset of our users so I'm not seeing any way to essentially say "oh these 20 people didn't take survey A because they took survey B".

I know it's a very vague question and maybe not the right spot to bring it up, but we're fairly new to Qualtrics and its wide options for surveying. We come from a simple world of only having one plain feedback form, so I just want to see if anyone has been in a similar position so we know how to best deal with this!
