Our survey invitations have a black footer (to fit our other digital comms). The 'opt-out' link that Qualtrics inserts is blue, which displays really badly against the black background. We've tried to use code to ‘force’ that to display white, both at the text and at the cell/table level within the eDM but Qualtrics isn’t complying with the CSS instructions of the code.

Is there a way to either force that text to appear white, or hide the 'built-in' Qualtrics opt-out and insert our own (as it appears as it's only the Qualtrics opt-out link that has this problem - other hyper-linked text is OK). Thanks

Hi All,

I have a question regarding the integration of Qualtrics with an external mailer; in this case specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Currently my firm use Salesforce as our CRM database, and using the Salesforce connector we are aiming to integrate this with Qualtrics, allowing for us to easily automate the process of surveys being fired out upon certain customer actions. However we also wish to be able to use personal links so that feedback can be mapped back to Salesforce at a per customer level.

Now this is fine, but we also have our own email distribution platform - Salesforce Marketing Cloud, whereby we would like data from the contact list (such as names, embedded contact data fields) and importantly personal links to be pulled out from Qualtrics and automatically mail merged into survey email invites within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Is this possible with Qualtrics? I have not been able to see any information within the FAQs section on the use of automating the personal link creation and exporting out to an external mailer, and unfortunately have not been able to get much useful information from our Customer Success Manager at this stage.

Any useful info will be much appreciated!

Hi!

I am trying to implement a way to check if respondents are using proxies while answering my survey.
I set up the web service and logic already (using ipdata.co), and have tested it by feeding it made up IP addresses (for example 1.1.1.1 ) and my API key.
That generates the desired embedded variables, which I can save and use successfully.

However, when I try to use Qualtrics' own IP address variable and pipe it directly into the web service URL, the web service can't interpret it.
I double-checked the content and format of the IP address Qualtrics would pipe in, and if I take the same values, manually input them into the query (in place of the piped text variable with the same content) and test it, it again gives me the correct values.

So it seems that something is wrong with how piped text works in the web service URL line.
From what I've seen elsewhere online, this shouldn't be an issue – what am I missing here?

I've added a screenshot below to illustrate my setup – thanks in advance for any advice!

Currently the company uses Tableau and Google Analytics for daily monitoring and now we are adding Qualtrics into the mix. Our fear is the execs will choose one dashboard to view and it will not be Qualtrics. Example of daily metrics would be overall page visits, total orders, total calls etc.
