Header loads/refreshes after questions on the page?

Hi all,
I use headers in my survey to denote what section we are on, so I set it by piping an embedded field into the header section, then changing the embedded field in the survey flow right before a new section begins.
One problem I have is that when I click "next," the new questions load before the header refreshes into something else, so it looks a bit janky.
Is there a way to refresh the whole page at the same time? Or the headers before the new questions? I wonder if the loading is slowed down because I use some CSS in the header.
