Superimposing Piped Text Over Image

I am unsure if this is the appropriate place to ask this but I'll go ahead and ask. For a survey that I'm creating, I am wanting to provide a graphic of a thermostat with a temperature reading on it along with some text. However, the temperature will depend on what the participant answers in a previous question. So there will be around 30 possible temperatures to display. I was wanting to know if there was a way to display the image of a blank thermostat and superimpose piped text over the image.

Use a span tag with absolute positioning to always place your text in the same location, regardless of what else is there in the question text.

 Text Goes Here

Now, no matter whatever else you add inside the question text. This text will always be at a distance of 25% the total height and width of the Question container.
You can change the positioning based on your requirements.
