I'm not sure if this is at all possible but thought it might be worth asking.
I am trying to set up a task, where people are given an image depicting the floor plan of a restaurant together with a list of names. Ideally, people will be asked to drag and drop each name onto each table on the floor plan. Is this something that can be implemented on Qualtrics?

Pick, Group and Rank - drag and drop items on specific areas of an image

This kind of a setup should be doable in Qualtrics provided you'll have to use quite a degree of CSS and JQeury to position the drop boxes on the specific area of the image. Additionally this would be desktop compliant only, incase you're looking for a device agnostic setup than i would prefer building one from scratch w/o using pick, drop and rank.
Alternative would be to use the heat map setup where you show a heat map question for each name one at a time. Heat map question will give you flexibility to define your areas which in your case are the tables on the floor plan.
