I need to pipe some text from a previous question into an essay text box question input area and am having a hard time getting it to show up. I know the piped text is correct because I have tested it outside of the essay box question in the same section. Are there restrictions on doing this?

ahmedA vI should have clarified that I don't want that text to be an answer option, I just want the text to be in there as as part of other things participants put in that text essay box. I realize that what I am trying to do might sound counterproductive and I could do this a different way, but its a bit of a unique case scenario where people will sometimes need to copy/paste some information from that box until I get a better API solution.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. But if you are looking for "pre-populate" the text box with some text. Then default choices is the way to go.
