Do embedded Youtube videos have to be set as public or do private or unlisted videos work as well?
I would like to keep my videos private or unlisted on my youtube channel but then it doesn't seem to work in the survey. thanks for your help.

Thanks for the answer. However, is there really no way to keep them private or unlisted? I feel that unlisted videos should work...

I also tried in past it doesn't worked, make it public and check it is working than change to unlisted and check.

You should set your videos to "unlisted" instead of "private". That way the video does not show up on your channel or on any search results but anyone with a link to the video can see it and you can embed the video on any site.

Finally, it worked with the unlisted videos. The reason why it wasn't working is because "Allow embedding" wasn't activated. Thanks to all for your help.
