How do I embed a survey question in an external email?

Hi there! Is there a way to embed a simple survey question into an external email? We're trying to display a question about customer email preferences in our customer emails. Thank you!

I think this is for Internal email from Qualtrics triggers, not external emails.

Did anyone find a solution for this? trying to do the same thing and havent been able to embed survey into an outlook email.
