How can I transfer data from Excel to Qualtrics?
I collected paper-based survey from 500 students and entered data into Excel. Now I would like to transfer data from Excel to Qualtrics.

- You will have to create a survey (project) in Qualtrics
- Add all fields (columns of excel file [hope you are collecting row-wise student data]) as embedded data in the survey flow of the project.
- There will be only one question in your project and you can have it as a descriptive text.
- Take a preview link
- Goto Data and Analysis and export the data in CSV format
- Now, in this CSV add your data from row no. 4.
- Make sure you place the data in the proper column (embedded data of the exported CSV file)
- Import this CSV file back to Qualtrics.

Save your Excel in to csv format.
Create all variables you have in CSV as embed variable in new survey.
Go to Legacy, download the example csv file from legacy import.
Insert you data from step1 to this example csv file.
Import this ready file in the legacy importer.
