I see I can Transpose the table but this doesn't change the function of the elements, so alas it doesn't help.

Can I actually flip statements and answers in a Matrix table?
I let a colleague enter all her questions in Qualtrics, however, she created Matrix tables questions where the statements are the answers and answers the statements.

@Ingrid , unfortunately you can not directly reverse the statements POSITION only. You can try changing selection options to "multiselect" and apply exclusive on each column if the statements to be single select.
