Hello everyone!
I'm looking forward to your help .. I'm conducting an experimental, longitudinal study with random assignment.
I would like both groups (control group and trial group) to respond to a questionnaire at three different time points.
In addition, I would like the experiment group, before receiving the link to the questionnaire at the second time point, to hear a sound section and receive a link to it every day until the second measurement.
In the research I ask them to give one of the following details: Phone number or Email.
Hope you will be able to assist me,
Thanks in advance!
Maor.

Hi Maor, I'm not sure what your question is exactly. But know this is a really common topicin the community. I'd recommend reading around some of the old topics. I found a few good ones for you:

https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/2855/pairing-data-in-a-longitudinal-study

Maybe you can help us by letting us know what particular parts of the design you are having trouble with?

Hi Kate!
First of all, thank you very much for your quick response!
I have been exposed to these discussions before I have raised my question, so I will try to rephrase my request:
Participants will enter an email or phone number after answering a questionnaire. I would like to know whether I can send them a link for a second and third measurement at intervals of three weeks from each other. In other words, is there an option for the qualtrics to recognize the email or phone number and automatically send that person a link after a period of time?
My second question - is it possible for one group, the experimental group, to receive access to a sound segment every day for the first three weeks after the first response to the questionnaire? I mean, can I send them a link automatically?
Thank you!
Maor

Ah! So if you mean send them in batches to everyone on Week 1, Week 2, yes. the distributions tab will allow you to set up those invitations.

However, if you want it to automatically send an invitation 3 weeks after a survey was completed, then no. Qualtrics can't tell time like that (at least not as a feature of it's out-of-the-box functions). You need to set up the distributions.

Same for the Experimental group question- you will have to identify an experimental group in order to set up the needs you have surrounding them. You will need to identify their experimental/control status in the panelist information.
