Calculating matrix total to use as skip logic

Hi all, working on my dissertation and I have a group of questions organized into a matrix table that measure involvement. I am looking to filter participants that only have high involvement; essentially I need to calculate the total value on these questions and use it as a skip logic to screen participants either in or out of the survey based on this variable. Can't figure out how to do it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

You can use math operations to calculate a total and store it as embedded data. Then use skip logic based on that data.
Thank you!
