I will have a very long survey with 1000 questions, and it will take around 5 hours for the subjects to finish. So when the subjects work on the survey and cannot finish the survey, they can save the answers they made so far and then continue next time when they open the survey again.

I wonder whether Qualtrics save the following timestamps:
The timestamp I need looks like this
2019-11-01 14:03 subjectX opens the survey
2019-11-01 15:00 subjectX clicked on the SAVE button and closed the survey
(I call 2019-11-01 14:03-15:00 as one attempt on the survey)
2019-11-09 17:00 subjectX opens the survey
2019-11-09 18:00 subjectX clicked on the SAVE button and closed the survey
(So 2019-11-09 17:00-18:00 will be the subject’s next attempt)

(The other thing I want is their additional progress they made on each attempt. Basically what I want looks like:
2019-11-01 14:03 subjectX When the subject opens the survey, the current progress is 20% done
2019-11-01 15:00 subjectX When the subject closed the survey, the progress is 50% done
So then I can know, during this attempt, the subject get 50%-20% =30% additional progress done. )

Given current functionality, you may need to place each question on it's own page. Using the Timing functionality (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/question-types-guide/advanced/timing/) you can record how long a respondent spends on each page before moving on. There is other functionality here as well that may be beneficial.

As far as progress, that may be something you will need to calculate on the back end as you work with your data. You can create a custom calculation for this.
