If you have scheduled a distribution for a future date, you can still edit it.
If you have already sent out email invitations, then remove the contact from the list.
If you have already sent out email invitations, then remove the contact from the list.

If you mean remove the contact from the contact list what is the impact of other survey responses we want to keep?

It won't affect already recorded responses for that specific contact in other surveys.
