Experience designer: Tasi, Research Services Sales Development Representative

I am an experience designer; I love to create fun and impactful experiences for people around me. I try to fill my life with memorable experiences, whether it's with my family (my wife and two kids), at work, or with friends. I really connected with Qualtrics, because at its core, it is an experience management organization that optimizes any targeted experience.

I really connected with Qualtrics when I heard Ryan Smith speak about the experience gap and XM platform at the 2018 X4 summit. I knew right away that this was a company that I would love to work for and I finally made it here after 3 years!

What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Qualtrics?

It's been 3 years since I've graduated college, and my friends that started working here post-graduation are still here and love their jobs. After seeing the growth opportunities and culture, I was sold.

What does your day look like?

I just started, but as an SDR 1, I will spend all day prospecting sales opportunities.

You moved to Provo, right? We'd love to hear what brought you here.

I moved to Provo in 2016 from Las Vegas to attend BYU and marry the girl of my dreams. At the time I was living in Las Vegas and going to school at UNLV but I was dating a girl at BYU. Long story short, we got engaged and I moved to Provo, transferred to BYU, and now we've been married for 5 years.

Any tips for someone in general?

Never stop learning and growing!

What made you want to get into sales?

I am a very competitive and goal-driven person. I also love to connect with people and form new relationships.

What are your aspirations for your career and life?

Right now I want to be an account executive.

What's a favorite moment/memory of your time at Qualtrics so far?

One of my first TGITs was the one with Ryan and Zig, having the first in-office TGIT since the pandemic started. The energy they brought was awesome and got me so pumped to be here and start selling!

What 3 words would you use to describe Qualtrics to someone?

Experience Management. TACOS.

How do you feel you've been able to apply what you studied at school to your career?

I studied Experience Design & Management. I started off my career in event management, then moved to sales. In both fields, you are constantly managing experiences, couldn't be more applicable!

Qualtrics is growing, and if you're ready to find your "why" at a place like this, you can explore our open opportunities at any time by visiting our career page or by joining our talent community.
