Contact History

Response and Email History

Target Audience offers you the ability to track your contacts as you engage with them. From the View Directory or View List Members page, you can track their email history and response history. From the View Directory page you can also view their incentive history.

To view a contact’s response and email history

  1. Find the contact in your Directory or Mailing List by searching if necessary.
  2. Click on the contact. Notice the contact’s profile appears at the right of your screen.
  3. Click on the “History” button at the top of the profile.

  4. In the popup window, you’ll see two tabs, “Response History” and “Email History.”
Qtip: The Response History and Email History will only display history for the particular mailing list you are viewing. Only the Directory provides the complete history.

Response History

This tab shows you every survey you’ve invited the contact to take. The radio buttons will show you a status using a color-code system of:

  • green: Survey completed
  • yellow: Response in progress
  • red: Invitation sent, but the survey was not taken

Qtip: If you are the owner of the survey in the mailing history you can click on the ResponseID to view their response directly from Target Audience.

Email History

This tab shows you every email you’ve sent to your contact through Target Audience. You will be able to see the type of email sent (Email, Survey Invite, Thank You, or Reminder), the status, the survey tied to the email, and whether or not the participant opened the email.

Incentive History

Incentive history is only available when looking at a contact on the Directory level. To view a contact’s incentive history:

  1. Find the contact in your Directory or Mailing List by searching if necessary.
  2. Click on the contact. Notice the contact’s profile appears at the right of your screen.
  3. Click on the “Incentives” button at the top of the profile.

  4. In the popup window, you’ll see tabs for “Points,” “Reward Codes,” “Custom,” and Sweepstakes Entries. All of these track the different incentives that your participants have earned. Click here to learn more about Incentives.
