I am always in the market for new hobbies, but lately I’ve been cycling a lot.

Favorite Thing about Qualtrics

Because I work with insanely capable and intelligent people I am always learning and growing. But it’s not like other companies where people are competitive. Qualtrics has this unique culture of camaraderie where people help each other out and everyone elevates each other’s work. When you combine that with our open floor plan, the Coke Freestyle machines, the free food and all the other day-to-day perks, it’s pretty easy to see why I like coming to work every day.

Favorite Thing about Qualtrics

High-achieving engineers want to solve difficult problems, and Qualtrics gives people the ownership and trust to do that. With a full-stack offering, I do front-end and back-end work. Sometimes that means figuring out how to build cutting-edge data visualizations and other times it means figuring out how to make a feature or a product work for people who don’t have much technical training. Doing challenging work makes my job exciting and helps me grow as an engineer.

After one year, I went from managing 25 individuals to managing 130 individuals. That promotion has forced me to evolve and figure out how to manage at scale. Running is what makes me tick, I run marathons so not much time for other hobbies. I also love adventure holidays so I try to go cycling somewhere crazy every year.
