Burnout Is a Safety Signal: Protect the People, Protect the Patients
Clinician burnout isn't easing. According to the Qualtrics 2026 Healthcare Trends Report, 32% of clinicians experience burnout, and burned-out teams report weaker communication, shakier collaboration, and less confidence speaking up.
Safety culture is one of the strongest levers leaders have. Where safety culture is strongest, predicted clinician burnout is 13%. Where it's weakest, it climbs to 93%.
Episode two of Beyond the Score looks at treating burnout as a system problem, and explores how protecting your people better protects the patients they care for.
