ICBC Argentina + Qualtrics
ICBC Argentina + Qualtrics
When ICBC Argentina's designers needed an insight, they used to track down a person. Now they search a library that hands them an AI summary, sources included.
One searchable library unifying UX, CX, qualitative, and video research — institutional memory that compounds, not archives that age.
AI summaries with cited sources, verified by the team, for accurate answers without opening the underlying file.
A product partnership with Qualtrics that shipped AI summaries, list view, and result counts directly from ICBC's feedback.
The bottleneck
ICBC Argentina's UX research, HR-EX, and Quality teams had built up a substantial body of research spanning several interconnected topics, but they faced a significant access problem. When someone needed an answer, they had to route it through a researcher. The team's influence was capped by its own bandwidth — insights could only travel as fast as a researcher could hand-deliver them.
The self-serve shift
ICBC adopted Qualtrics Research Hub to centralize their research assets in one searchable library and make insights self-serve for the first time. Instead of tracking down a file or flagging a researcher, designers can now search the full library and get AI-generated summaries with cited sources at the top of results. The next step is extending Research Hub from the research team to the broader design organization — making it the default first stop for anyone who needs an insight.
We found Research Hub helpful because the information it gave us was accurate. That's the first thing we liked. The cited sources were a great add-on. With full visibility into the underlying documents, we could trace and audit every reference, confirming each one was correct.
