WASHINGTON — May 4, 2026 — Qualtrics announced it is now authorized to handle sensitive Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) for the U.S. Department of War (DoW) after achieving Impact Level 4 (IL4) Provisional Authorization from the Defense Information Systems Agency, enabling defense agencies to improve service delivery and workforce programs.
With IL4 authorization, the Qualtrics® Platform meets the rigorous security requirements mandated by the DoW, providing DoW organizations and partners with a pre-approved security baseline that accelerates security reviews and deployments, simplifies procurement, and reduces time-to-value.
The authorization comes as the DoW makes the experience of service members and their families a strategic priority by delivering data-driven improvements across IT delivery, personnel services, and program effectiveness. With IL4, defense agencies can use Qualtrics to listen to capture data across the full service member lifecycle - from accession to transition - understand what it means in context, and deliver those insights directly to operational leaders where they can drive outcomes. These enhanced capabilities allow military leaders to integrate feedback at a level that was previously inaccessible, directly supporting readiness and retention.
