Does anyone have a recomendation on the best tablet for implementing the offline app?

I am new to the offline app and was wondering if one tablet stood out as the best platform?

We've done it a few times on an Apple iPad and it's worked beautifully. I'd have no qualms recommending it to you (even though I am a fervent Android user personally).
