Distribution Acceptable Use Policy

You are responsible for following the laws and regulations applicable to your country or origin and usage of the Qualtrics Cloud Service, including the CAN-SPAM Act. These regulations may require you to obtain confirmed opt-in (COI) from your recipients prior to sending emails, text messages such as Short Message Service (SMS), WhatsApp messages, or other methods of sending messages using the Cloud Service. Use of unconfirmed third-party lists is prohibited. We reserve the right to require you to document the opt-in process and provide that documentation to us upon request.

We monitor distributions for spam. We may decline to send a message or block you from using our distribution infrastructure if:

  • Our scan detects abusive or low-quality messages (spam)
  • The bounce rate is excessive
  • The complaint rate is excessive
  • Your messages have low engagement
  • Your use involves phishing, malware distribution, linking to an unrelated site, or other malicious behaviors
  • You are redirecting users to platforms other than Qualtrics Cloud Service to collect feedback
  • You are distributing messages without an intent to collect feedback (for example, the content is unrelated to customer or employee experience)
