Chief Learning Officer // AETC, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph
Dr. Wendy D. Walsh is the Chief Learning Officer, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. She is responsible for providing leadership, support and technical direction to enable an Air Force culture of learning. Dr. Walsh connects learning professionals to collectively build, share, and sustain an accessible, meaningful continuum of learning for Airmen. A career public servant, she has worked in both state and federal agencies for the last 30 years. Dr. Walsh has an impressive track record collaborating with governments, academia, industry and communities to develop research, grow education, apply innovation and expand possibilities to create culturally relevant, effective educational experiences responsive to organizational needs.
Amber Goettman
Chief of Training Evaluations // SWTG, Lackland Air Force Base
Amber Goettman is the Chief of Training Evaluations at the Special Warfare Training Group (SWTG), assigned to the Special Warfare Training Wing (SWTW) at Lackland AFB, TX. With a Master of Education (M.Ed.) focused in instructional technology, Amber brings a wealth of experience to the DOD’s training and development space. She is an experienced education and training specialist with a demonstrated history working in the defense industry. Amber currently leads a team of instructional systems specialists to ensure job skills training is effective and efficient to meet the needs of the customer. She and her team have developed a modern feedback program that ensures the SWTG delivers training that aligns with AETC policy, continuously assesses course curriculum, and provides instructor cadre actionable insights.
Cydney Miller
Sr. Principal Solutions Engineer // Qualtrics
Cydney Miller is a Sr. Principal Solutions Engineer for Qualtrics. She specializes in building employee experience solutions, including programs designed for learning and development. She was previously the HR Director for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System and was awarded the HR Management Excellence Award by the State of TN Human Resource Council. Cydney holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP Certifications and served on the 2010-2011 National SHRM Specialty Expertise Panel for Staffing Management. She has a MBA from Bethel University and Bachelors Degree from the University of South Florida.
