Measuring learning experiences to deliver impact

AI and data interoperability open up new frontiers for learning leaders who are working towards capturing the “nirvana” of learning measurement: Kirkpatrick Level 4. Jim Kirkpatrick will lead an interactive session on how agencies can leverage technology to demonstrate the ROI of workforce development, proving the value of investing in learning and development initiatives to improve agency performance.

Employee experience: building for today and tomorrow

High-performing organizations are becoming increasingly more focused on leveraging EX insights to develop a holistic workforce strategy. What is required to launch EX in your own agency? How do we take account of workforce dynamics today while building for the future? Drawing from the Qualtrics Global Trends report, Ben Granger will help participants identify the methods and mindsets required to launch and sustain a robust EX program.

Traci DiMartini is the Human Capital Officer for the Internal Revenue Service at the Department of the Treasury. In her role as HCO, Traci oversees all IRS recruitment, hiring, benefits and training for the service’s 90,000 employees. She is a passionate advocate for federal workers and is proud to partner with the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) which represents the IRS bargaining unit workforce. Traci is an experienced senior executive and previously served as the Chief Human Capital Officer for GSA, Peace Corps and the EEOC before joining the IRS in June 2023. She has over 20 years of federal service and is an alumna of USDA’s SES Candidate Development program and American University’s Key Executive Leadership program. Traci received her Masters degree from Rutgers University’s Bloustein School of Public Policy with a concentration in labor policy and is a proud native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Jim Kirkpatrick is a visionary and expert in training evaluation and the creator of the New World Kirkpatrick Model. Using his 15 years of experience in the corporate world, including eight years as a training manager, Jim trains and consults for corporate, government, military and humanitarian organizations around the world. Jim co-authored three books with his father, Don Kirkpatrick, who is credited with creating the Kirkpatrick Model. He has also written four books with Wendy Kirkpatrick. Jim and Wendy served as the subject matter experts for the United States office of personnel management’s training evaluation field guide: Demonstrating the value of training at
every level.

Cydney Miller is a Sr. principal solutions engineer for Qualtrics. She was previously the human resources director for the Clarksville Montgomery county school system. She has a MBA from Bethel University and bachelors degree from the University of South Florida and holds her SPHR and SHRM-SCP Certifications. Cydney was awarded the HR management excellence award by the State of TN human resource council and served on the 2010-2011 national SHRM specialty expertise panel for staffing management.
