Designing the back to school experience for 2021
February 18, 2021 / 13:00 Miami | 15:00 Brazil
Across the education sector, expectations have shifted dramatically. On top of all the usual criteria, universities now need to think carefully about new safety protocols in the wake of COVID-19. For many, this means redesigning the experience to not only deliver a world-class education, but to do it in a safe, secure environment. Join Ernie Fernandez, CIO of the University of Miami, to explore how you can rethink and redesign the experience from end-to-end as you welcome students back. In this session, you’ll learn:
- How to design the "back to school" experience for returning students and staff post COVID-19
- Opportunities to improve the experience for students and staff through new approaches to communication
- Strategies for closing experience gaps such as students declining on applications, increasing dropouts, and student and staff mental health challenges
