How does Qualtrics connect with your 'why'?
I am very much a people person and love to continuously improve myself and learn new skills as well as take on new challenges. Qualtrics is a fast-growing company, full of amazing people who are willing to share their knowledge and help in any way they can. Each day at Qualtrics brings new challenges and new opportunities to learn which really appeals to me.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
When I started researching Qualtrics, it became clear to me what a great culture the organisation has. I saw the company’s growth and the opportunity to challenge myself and grow with the organisation really appealed to me. The interview process was also a key factor for me. The people I was dealing with were all very transparent, honest, and insightful and that made me realise how much I wanted to work here.
What is your favorite part of your role?
Working so closely with the Account Executives that I am aligned to. It's my ambition to become an AE myself, so getting to learn first-hand from AEs, either by sitting in on discovery calls or demos is hugely beneficial and gives me an insight into what is involved in their role. I try to absorb as much of their knowledge as possible!
Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics?
Do plenty of research on the company. There is lots of information out there on what it's like to be a Qualtrics employee. Definitely reach out to people currently working at Qualtrics and find out about their experiences and what a typical day looks like as well as their thoughts on the culture of the organisation. I can't think of one person working here that wouldn't be happy to speak to someone and share their knowledge so don't be afraid to reach out!
What made you want to get into sales?
Sales always appealed to me due to the variety involved in the role. Every day is different and brings with it new challenges. You also have to deal with different types of people and always think about better ways to interact with and approach them. It can be really challenging but if you are willing to put in the effort, the rewards are huge.
