Andrew, Technical Account Manager: Helping people be happy

If we are going to spend several decades of our lives working in our career, we ought to be happy at and in those places of work. That's what I want to be a part of. I want to help people be happy in the workplace.

What is your favorite part of your role?

This is my second role here at Qualtrics. My favorite part of both has been working with my team. It is fulfilling to work with other working professionals who are young, driven, fun, and just all-around good people.

Can you tell us your story of moving to Utah?

I am originally from Idaho. And I will always claim Idaho. I moved to Utah to attend BYU and stuck around when I got the job at Qualtrics. Utah is a great place to be!

Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics? Or advice for someone looking to get into a career like yours? Tips for someone in general?

A general tip, every day we should try a little harder to be a little better.

What made you want to get into tech?

I actually had never planned to work for a tech company. I started at Qualtrics as a product specialist, and the booming tech industry and tech culture have grown to be super appealing and fulfilling.

What is your top #LifeHack?

It is never too hot for hot chocolate and it is never too cold for ice cream.

Qualtrics is growing, and if you're ready to find your "why" at a place like this, you can explore our open opportunities at any time by visiting our career page or by joining our talent community.

Andrew is an alumnus of BYU and started his career at Qualtrics. He is a better than average rock skipper.
