A look back at X4

After a long four years, Qualtrics X4™ is back! In the beginning of March we welcomed 10,000 attendees to Salt Lake City for this unforgettable tech summit experience. Here’s a look back on some of the best moments of X4 2023

Mainstage Keynotes

What do Martha Stewart, Shaun White, Chip & Joanna Gaines, and Malala have in common? They were all keynote speakers at X4!

  • Martha Stewart: The Good. The Bad. And the Amazing. Building a Resilient Brand.
  • Malala Yousafzai: Dismantling Inequity: The Power of Developing Women Leaders
  • Chip and Joanna Gaines: Curating the Perfect Customer Experience. Five Senses at a Time.
  • Mark Rober: NASA engineer turned YouTube creator
  • Shaun White: All In: Winning Olympic Gold

But that’s not all — we also heard inspirational business keynotes from:

  • Ed Bastian, Delta CEO
  • Kevin Warren, UPS CMO
  • Johnny Taylor, SHRM CEO
  • Cheryl Grise, EY Head of Americas Industry
  • Jill Kramer, Accenture Chief Marketing & Communications Officer
  • Zig Serafin, Qualtrics CEO
  • Ryan Smith, Qualtrics Founder and Owner of the Utah Jazz
  • Brad Anderson, Qualtrics President of Products & Engineering

5 For The Fight Night

Fight Night is our event to raise awareness and support for the fight against cancer. This year it was hosted by the amazing Derek Hough with entertainment by Freestyle Love Supreme, Kinjaz, Light Balance, and more. Qualtrics brought cancer fighters and survivors to the stage and we were able to witness a young cancer survivor ring the bell for the first time.

Warehouse Party

On night two we had our Warehouse Party complete with food trucks, a full skate ramp, and Tony Hawk and the Bones Brigade. All of this was followed by an amazing concert by The Killers!

The X4 Experience

And that’s not even half of it! There were 100 breakout sessions with even more keynotes. Our TACOS Sales Village was a space where customers could connect with sales reps to learn more about how our product can work for them.

We also had customer showcases for Rivian, Crayola, Off White, and StockX. But maybe the most exciting and unique thing about X4 is our Dream Team.

The Dream Team is a group of Qualtrics employees whose mission is dedicated to making X4 an experience that exceeds all others. We use our software to take requests from customers on how we can make their experience better. This year we received 2,000 unique requests with a total of 3,303 tickets. Some requests are small, like a Starbucks coffee. Other requests are big, like the woman who was having a hard time focusing on the events because she’d just found a lump in her breast that day. The Dream Team was able to help her schedule a mammogram.

Here are few more of the requests that the Dream Team filled:

  • Delivered a birthday cake to a customer who was celebrating their birthday.
  • Got prescription glasses for a customer who forgot theirs.
  • Gave a spa day to a customer
  • Helped a customer get a skateboard signed by Tony Hawk
  • Delivered a new backpack and water bottle to a customer who needed it.
  • Worked with our partner Rivian to take a customer off-roading.
