Aaron, Enterprise Sales: Partnering to create possibilities
We're currently in the Experience Era. Organisations are paying more attention to extrinsic data and feedback from customers and employees rather than making decisions solely on what they think these groups want, need and enjoy. This is a very compelling message, highly relevant in today's economy and I'm enthusiastic about engaging organisations on the topic of experience. Of course, family is very important to me and the flexibility and balance to add a positive impact on both my personal and professional life is essential.
How does Qualtrics connect with your 'why'?
Qualtrics allows me to engage in helping organisations identify and close experience gaps with the people that interact with them the most. At the same time it offers flexibility, a compelling role, and career opportunity to help me make that positive impact on family, organisations and people I mentioned.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
A different, important conversation to have with enterprise organisations. Qualtrics is the leader in XM, a category they’re creating and to me that’s very exciting to be part of. Hearing about the culture, people, solutions and care the organisation has for its employees was exciting. I knew I could apply and share almost 20 years of experience to create success for both myself and the team.
What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Qualtrics?
A close colleague who I worked with in my previous role told me about his experience here, echoing the points above, and I thought, "Yep, that's for me!"
What does your day look like?
Well, first and foremost - learning. If you look at my learning on a line graph, it would be almost vertical! Learning about our customers, our partners, our leading XM solutions that propel them to the next level and the incredible people who I am/will be working with. I speak to organisations, hear about their current customer, employee, brand and product strategies and share how we can create success as Qualtrics has done for thousands of other customers.
What is your favorite part of your role?
That’s a tough one, but ultimately customers partnering with Qualtrics to execute a vision that delivers great outcomes and experiences for their key stakeholders. Something else deserves a mention from a professional perspective, being surrounded by so many learned, academic and quality people really elevates mine and each other’s development. Oh, did I mention the flexibility, challenge and reward? I’ll stop.
Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics?
If you know anyone working at Qualtrics, speak to them and hear what they have to say. Think about your education and experience, watch a few videos about Qualtrics and see how the two make sense for you. If helping organisations become more human by listening to what really matters for their employees and customers sounds compelling and that speaks to you, speak to Qualtrics.
What has surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
The growth! I was told Qualtrics was growing rapidly but being here now I can absolutely experience it.
What made you want to get into sales?
Through high school I could see that the world was on a sharp trajectory to create technology to improve our lives. Well, as a hungry young bloke in his teens, I knew people who told me the tech industry, particularly sales, can create a rewarding careerl. I learned it was about aligning what I was passionate about with the right role/organisation/solution/service to create success.
What are your aspirations in career/life?
As a father and husband, first and foremost provide for my family and ensure their success and happiness. As long as I'm making a positive impact on people, teams, organisations, customers and whomever I bump into along the way by doing things I'm passionate about, that's what it's about for me.

Get a standing desk! Burn more calories and give your bum a rest!
What's a favorite moment/memory of your time at Qualtrics so far?
As I joined in Jan 2022, the office was closed due to COVID. Meeting everyone for the first time in a social setting has been a highlight now that face-to-face is returning.
