Shinpei, Account Executive, talks sales careers in Tokyo
I think there is always a space for improvement in anything. As a salesperson, I am always thinking about what I can deliver to customers so that they can find a better way to run their business and about how I can be of greater value to them. I chose Qualtrics because I felt that XM is exactly what many customers will need regardless of the industry. Also, the environment is perfect for me to improve myself as a salesperson.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Qualtrics?
As I went through more interviews, my desire to join Qualtrics got stronger. I became more convinced that it was a great place to work in terms of people, culture, and the solution. Even after I joined the company, I didn't feel a big gap.
What does your day look like?
Naturally, as a salesperson, most of my time is used to facilitate the decision-making process with customers so that they can implement the solution with confidence. However, I am not confined to the position of a salesperson. I work together with other people in other positions to plan initiatives that will help more people to know about Quartrics.
What is your favorite part of your role?
When customers are happy using our product.
What has surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
Motivation for work. Willingness to support regardless of their position. Diversity.
