Qualtrics Experience

My Qualtrics Experience – Jamie Morningstar – Manager, Software Engineering – Provo

What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?

For the past 6 years, I've lead an orphanage work trip to Colima, Mexico. This year all of my kids were old enough to attend, so for the first time and with the help of the Qualtrics Experience, all 6 of us (along with 20 other folks in the group) were able to travel to the Hogar de Amor orphanage to serve the kids and caregivers there. It was an amazing trip - we were able to complete a bunch of projects, treat the kids to a giant pool party, and nurture enduring relationships within our family, team, and with the folks at Hogar de Amor. http://centerpointmexico.blogspot.com

One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. What did you learn through this experience?

My Qualtrics Experience was all about Learning, Leading, and Living (and loving) well. Planning and leading 26 people on an international work trip is a ton of work and requires a lot of compassion for the team and excellence in planning. And it's all so very worth it to see how it transforms the lives of each team member and encourages and sustains every kid and caregiver at the orphanage.
