Add Directory Contacts

Introduction

You can add new contacts to your organization-wide directory by navigating to the Add Contacts page.

Qtip: Before adding any new contacts, be sure to check out your Organization Settings for Deduplication, which you can find in the Advanced Options on this page or on the Organization Settings page under your Administration tab. Your settings on this page will determine how duplicate contacts in your Directory are consolidated.

Add contacts from a CSV file

  1. Click “Import From a File”.

  2. Click “Browse” to select your CSV file.

  3. Once the file has loaded, click “Upload” to add those contacts to your Directory.image00
Qtip: If you need help formatting your CSV files, click on the Example Document icon to download a CSV file with the basic formatting that Target Audience is expecting in your file.

Add contacts manually

  1. Click “Add Manually.”

  2. Type in the email, first name and last name of the contacts you’d like to add.

  3. Additional fields can be added and edited by clicking the plus button to the right of the table.

  4. Click “Save” to add those contacts to your Directory.
