About Connector Properties

Account Administrators can enable and disable connectors at the account level.

Enabling Connectors

Sign in to Connectors.
Expand the user avatar menu on the upper-right of the Jobs page.
Select Account Settings.
Select the CONNECTOR PROPERTIES tab.
Turn on the connectors toggles for the connectors that you wish to enable.

Qtip: Turn off the connectors toggles for the connectors that you wish to disable.

Connector Filter

Connector filters enable you to define a filter condition for the job to load only the data that matches the filter. This way you can control which documents get uploaded into XM Discover.

Updating Data Mapping

You can update the mapping of the source fields to XM Discover attributes defined when creating a job.

Creating Jobs (Connectors)

To upload data from a particular source, you need to create a job for a corresponding connector. You can create multiple jobs uploading data from the same source with different parameters, such as pulling different types of feedback or running on different schedules.

Updating Retention Settings

You can update the retention period for files processed by the files inbound connector and the Organization Hierarchy inbound connector after a job is created to define how long the processed files should be retained in the system before being deleted. This way you can define different retention periods for files that were processed successfully and unsuccessfully, or disable the option to delete the files after processing.
