About QR Codes

A QR code® (or Quick Response Code) is a type of matrix barcode that can be printed or shown as an online graphic. QR codes store information—such as web address links—and can be read by mobile devices with a camera. With QR codes, you can easily target your distribution to mobile device respondents.

Your survey’s QR code is linked to the anonymous link. When someone scans this code with a QR Reader app on their mobile device, they will be immediately directed to your survey. This is a convenient distribution option for receipts, posters, and other print media.

Qtip: Because the QR code redirects to the anonymous link, respondents who take the survey through this method will be anonymous, unless specifically asked for identifying information within the survey. Similar to the anonymous link, your survey’s QR code will not change if you make updates to your survey.

Salesforce Response Mapping

Response Mapping is used to take the answers provided in a Qualtrics survey and map them back to a Salesforce record. For example, when your client takes a support feedback survey, their satisfaction level could be mapped back to Salesforce for the account manager to see.

You can pull employee data directly from SuccessFactors into the Qualtrics platform through the use of workflows extraction tasks. However, SuccessFactors requires the configuration of an OAuth2 client in order for Qualtrics to retrieve data from their system. Prerequisite actions must be performed via the SuccessFactors Admin Portal in order to set up Qualtrics extraction tasks for the first time.
